MuchBoost 1.4TSI EA211 Upgraded Turbocharger with a Custom Billet Compressor Wheel and Enlarged Turbine Wheel It is based on an original IHI/Mitsubishi, which means that the installation is 100%P&P. The turbocharger is meant to work with Audi A1 8X, Audi A3 8V1/8VK, Seat Alhambra II, Seat Ibiza IV, Seat Leon III, Skoda Octavia III, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Golf MK VII, Volkswagen Polo V, and others equipped with the 1.4TSI EA211 122-150HP engines.
The turbo delivers up to 229% power (158 extra HP) over the factory specs. It is a great choice for someone looking for a bit extra HP from their daily driver. MuchBoost turbo allows you to get more from your engine and enjoy it even more than you’ve been so far.
We have developed 3 modification options that allow you to reach anywhere from 220HP to 280HP.
MuchBoost EA211 1.4TSI 220
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated ~220HP at the crank. Listo of modifications:
- Precisely machined seal plates and compressor housing,
- Genuine IHI/Mitsubishi compressor housing,
- Genuine IHI/Mitsubishi bearing housing,
- Genuine IHI/Mitsubishi exhaust manifold,
- Upgraded journal bearings system that allows the turbo to hold more boost,
- More efficient and larger Billet Compressor Wheels:6+6 blades for IHI
8+0 blades for Mitsubishi - Clipped and Lightened genuine Turbine Wheel to help reduce backpressure,
- The compressor and turbine wheels are balanced separately, and then the whole core is high-speed balanced using VSR balancing machines at speeds similar to the level seen in the vehicle.
MuchBoost EA211 1.4TSI 250
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~250HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 220 option are the same except:
- Larger High-Flow 9 blades Turbine Wheel,
- Precisely machined exhaust housing.
MuchBoost EA211 1.4TSI 280
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~280HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 250 option are the same except:
- Additionally enlarged Compressor Wheel.
Other Significant Modifications
To fully utilize the potential of this hybrid turbo, we recommend upgrading i.a. fuel, exhaust, cooling systems, and the clutch. Individual ECU remapping is the foundation.
Example project
One of our clients managed to achieve 192 HP and 315 Nm of torque at the wheels. The car was also equipped with:
- Custom DP,
- Custom exhaust system,
- Iridium spark plugs.

Another great example comes from one of our clients, who decided to put one of those turbos in their 1.2TSI engine. The results are great; they managed to produce 217 HP and 278 Nm of torque at the crank. The car was also equipped with:
- 3″ unitronic downpipe with sport metallic cat
- 2.5″ full exhaust with a rm motors elliptical back muffler
- powerflex lower engine mount bush
- mst performance air intake
- aluminum charge pipe
- ngk laser spark plugs
- bar-tek performance ignition coils
- enforced clutch disk
- 312 mm front brakes

Matters you should be aware of when placing your order.
- The warranty is 12 months without the limit of mileage.
- We need around 2 weeks to perform and ship the upgraded turbocharger. In some complicated cases, it may take up to 3 weeks. Please realize that the turbo upgrades require precision. Especially, the machining process takes a lot of time. We don`t cut the corners. Thank you for understanding. The parcels in the European Union are shipped via DPD for just 25,00 EURO. UPS is used for orders besides the EU, it costs 99,00 EURO and 49,00 to the UK (DHL). The average delivery time is 3-5 working days.
- Every parcel is fully insured.
