MuchBoost B47D20 upgraded hybrid turbocharger with Custom Billet Compressor Wheels 11+0 Gen II and an Enlarged Turbine Wheel. It is based on a genuine Garrett turbocharger, which means that the installation is 100% P&P. The turbocharger is meant to work with 120D F20/F21, 220D F22/F23, 320D F30/F31/F34, 420D F32, 520D G30/F10/F11, X3 G01/F25 and other with the B47D20 150-190Hp engine. 

Our Hybrid Turbocharger allows your car to feel more agile and sporty. It is a great choice for someone looking for a quick daily driver with more power. Our Turbo allows you to get 200% (150 extra HP) more power than the stock figures.

We have developed 2 modification options that allow you to reach anywhere from 260HP to 300HP.

MuchBoost B47D20 260

Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~260HP at the crank. The list of modifications:

• Precisely machined compressor housing,
• Genuine Garrett Ceramic Ball Bearings system provides a faster spool,
• Genuine Garrett  compressor housing,
• Genuine Garrett bearing housing,
• Genuine Garrett exhaust manifold,
• The turbo is cooled just by oil (no complication with water cooling fittings),
• Original actuator,
• Enlarged Billet Compressor Wheel 11+0 GEN II,
• Dynamically balanced,
• Perfectly calibrated VNT system + dynamically balanced. We use a modern VISCOM flow bench and Schenck balancing machines.
• The compressor and turbine wheels are balanced separately, and then the whole core is high-speed balanced using VSR balancing machines at speeds similar to the level seen in the vehicle.

MuchBoost B47D20 300

Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~300HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 260 option are the same except:

• Larger Turbine Wheel,
• Machined exhaust housing.

Other significant modifications

The turbo allows you to get 260-300HP at the crank. To fully utilize the potential of this hybrid turbo, we recommend upgrading i.a. fuel, exhaust, cooling systems, and the clutch. Individual ECU remapping is the foundation.

Example project

A BMW 520d G30 fitted with our turbocharger managed to produce 295HP and 575Nm of torque. The car was equipped with:

• Wagner Intercooler,
• MuchBoost B47D20 Hybrid turbocharger,
• Stock Exhaust,
• Stock Intake.

Matters you should be aware of when placing your order.

1. The warranty is 12 months without the limit of mileage.
2. We need around 2 weeks to perform and ship the upgraded turbocharger. In some complicated cases, it may take up to 3 weeks. Please realize that the turbo upgrades require precision. Especially, the machining process takes a lot of time. We don`t cut the corners. Thank you for understanding. The parcels in the European Union are shipped via DPD for just 25,00 EURO. UPS is used for orders besides the EU, it costs 99,00 EURO and 49,00 to the UK (DHL). The average delivery time is 3-5 working days.
3. Every parcel is fully insured.
4. If you didn`t find the turbo you need, feel free to contact us. We are able to perform many more upgraded turbochargers than you can find on the site. Our development department works permanently on the new models.
