MuchBoost N55 Upgraded Turbocharger with a Custom Billet Compressor Wheel 6+6 Blades, and Clipped and Lightened/High Flow 9 Blade Turbine Wheel. It is based on an original Turbocharger, which means that the installation is 100%P&P. The turbocharger is meant to work with BMW 535i, 640i, M135i, M2, M235i, X3 35i, X4 35i, X4 M40i, X5 35i, X6 35i with the N55 306-370 HP engines.

The turbo delivers up to 179% power (246 extra HP) over the factory specs. It is a great choice for someone looking for a bit extra HP from their daily driver. MuchBoost turbo allows you to get more from your engine and enjoy it even more than you’ve been so far.

We have developed 3 modification options that allow you to reach anywhere from 460HP to 550HP.

MuchBoost N55 460

Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated ~460HP at the crank. List of modifications:

• Precisely machined seal plates and compressor housing,
• Genuine compressor housing,
• Genuine bearing housing,
• Genuine exhaust manifold,
• Upgraded journal bearings system that allows the turbo to hold more boost,
• More efficient and larger Billet Compressor Wheel 6+6 Blades,
  
• Clipped and Lightened genuine Turbine Wheel,
• Dynamically balanced,
• Original DV,
• The compressor and turbine wheels are balanced separately, and then the whole core is high-speed balanced using VSR balancing machines at speeds similar to the level seen in the vehicle.

MuchBoost N55 530

Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~530HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 460 option are the same except:

• Larger High-Flow 9 blades Turbine Wheel,
• Larger Billet Compressor Wheel,
• Precisely machined exhaust housing.

MuchBoost N55 550

Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~550HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 530 option are the same except:

• Bigger Turbine Wheel,
• Bigger Billet Compressor Wheel.

MuchBoost N55 580

Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~580HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 550 option are the same except:

• Bigger Turbine Wheel,
• Bigger Billet 8+0 Blades Compressor Wheel,
• Added heat shield.

Other Significant Modifications

To fully utilize the potential of this hybrid turbo, we recommend upgrading i.a. fuel, exhaust, cooling systems, and the clutch. Individual ECU remapping is the foundation.

Example project

One of our clients managed to produce 487HP at the wheels and 710Nm from their M2. The car had a custom ECU done and an xHP Flashtools TCU tune. It was also equipped with:

• Dinan Engineering N-Series Ignition Coils

1. 1. The warranty is 12 months without the limit of mileage.
   2. We need about 7 working days to perform and ship the upgraded turbocharger. The parcels in European Union are shipped via DPD for just 25,00 EURO. DHL Express (airplane shipping)  is used for orders besides the EU, it costs 99,00 EURO. The average delivery time is 2-4 working days. 
   3. Every parcel is fully insured.
   4. If you didn`t find the turbo you need, feel free to contact us. We are able to perform many more upgraded turbochargers than you can find on the site. Our development department works permanently on the new models.
   5. Do you have a workshop, are you an influencer or seller of tuning parts? We are open to cooperation by offering discounts and refunds.

* Just upgrade option means that we will modify your turbochargers once you sent them to us. The turbo can’t be cracked and must be genuine.
