When it comes to the other diesel engines from Opel, Fiat, Citroen, Mercedes, etc we are able to do the same upgrades but only with vacuum or electronic actuator adaptation (conversion), without a welded manifold.

Turbo Nomenclature

What do turbo markings mean?

Let’s take for example a GTB2056VK. 

GTB stands for Garrett Turbo

20 refers to the frame size of the turbo, it is connected with the turbine wheel

56 refers to the compressor exducer size in millimeters, in this case, the compressor wheel is 56mm in diameter.

VK means that there are “standard” journal bearings used in this turbo, sometimes you may find VRK or VKLR, which means that ball bearings have been used for those turbos. L means that the turbo is water-cooled as well.

We decided to split our Hybrid Turbos into two categories. First, there are the Plug&Play turbos for the transverse & longitudinal 1.6/1.9/2.0 TDI engines which mainly require an ECU Tune after installation.  Turbos below are listed in ascending power numbers.
